How to select Maintenance Recommendations in NextGear for your clients next appointment

You can create, view and edit Next Gear inspections from any work station, tablet, or device with an internet browser
How To
-
Open a web browser and go to nextgear.boltontechnology.com

This is the main log in page for the Next Gear application

Enter your Cell Phone number into the text field with the mobile device icon

Select the Send Access Code button
-
You will receive an Access Code via text message and email to the phone number and account email that was provided

Enter the Access code in the provided text field
-
To stay logged into your account select the checkbox provided
-
Select the Sign in button to proceed

Select the Inspections option from the header at the top of the Next Gear application

Your shop's inspections will be listed on the Inspection view
-
This view gives you the basic information about an inspection
-
Customer name, vehicle type, type of inspection, general picture of detail health showing number of points in each color (red, yellow, and green)

Review your shop information

For a more detailed view or to edit the inspection select the inspection you would like to view.

The Inspection status is located in the blue text field under the customer and vehicle information
-
These statuses change as you move through the inspection workflow

Once the inspection status moves into the Shared status the Inspection Ready For Checkout Button will be available

To move the inspection into the Shared status you can share the inspection or manually set the status

Once the status of the inspection has been changed

Select the Inspection Ready For Checkout button

From the Ready For Checkout View

Under the Odometer, Technician, and Service Advisor fields

Find the Next Recurring Maintenance header

Select the month interval (3/6/9 mos) you would like to schedule your clients recurring maintenance

Your Inspection Recommendations will be visible by point title on the check out view

If your customer chooses to get the recommended service performed today
-
Select the button next to the Service Performed Today. Don't Schedule Appointment text

Now the selected performed services will not carry over when we schedule the next appointment

Select the check mark button in the bottom right hand corner to schedule the remaining Recommendations for the time interval you specified earlier
