Prevent A Customer From Receiving Automated Messages in Message Manager Pro

Using the Shop Management area of Settings in Message Manager Pro to unsubscribe a customer from automated messages.

Things To Note:

How To:

  • From Message Manager Pro

    1. Select the Settings tab from the top menu

    2. Click on Shop Management from the menu options
      1. The fields used in Primary Cell Phone and Secondary Cell Phone are the only two phone number types that Message Manager will use.
      2. As long as neither of those are the phone number label used for the customer they will be ineligible for automated messages.
        1. Example: Martha Jones does not want to be sent service reminders via text.  In your shop management system you set Martha's number as "Don't Text" for the phone type.  Then in Message Manager you set that it will only use phone numbers labelled as either "Home" or "Cell".  This means Martha will not get messages because her phone is neither of those types.
