How Do I Unsubscribe A Customer In Message Manager Pro?
We do not currently have a way to unsubscribe a customer directly from within Message Manager Pro but there are a couple of options that you can use to prevent them from receiving messages.
How To:
The customer unsubscribes from their end
If your customer does not want to receive text messages from your Message Manager Pro phone number they can unsubscribe from their end.
Your customer will just need to text in with the word "Stop" and then they will be unsubscribed from messaging.
You change the number type in your shop management system
If you want to stop your customer from receiving text messages without requiring them to text in as stated above, you can modify the label associated with their phone number.
In your Shop Management System you will have labels for phone numbers like "Cell", "Home", and "Work". You can change this label to something along the lines of "Cell - Do Not Text" or "Do Not Text - Call Only"
This prevents Message Manager Pro from seeing that phone number as being available for automated messaging.
