Sometimes customers may opt themselves out of texting. When this happens they will not be able to receive any text communication and will need to opt back in if they want to be able to communicate through text.
Things to Note
- There is no way for you to opt customers back into receiving text messages from your end. Customers must do this from their end.
How To
- First, you can confirm that the customer is indeed opted out by going to Report Pro and checking the "Customers Who Stopped SMS" report.
- If your customer is on this report they will need to opt themselves back in by sending a text message that says “START” to your shop’s Message Manager number.
- The customer should now be opted back into text messaging and will be able to receive text messages from your shop.
If you need to find what your Message Manager number is, click on SETTINGS at the top of your Message Manager screen and select General. Your texting number will be shown under "Message Manager Number".
