This article is for the connection between Retention Pro and ROWriter Gen1
The data connection or "sync" between the ROWriter Gen 1 system and Retention Pro is kept current through regular daily syncs with your ROWriter system. These are typically done a couple of times throughout the day to bring over any information you may have added or updated.

Retention Pro remains connected to the ROWriter Gen 1 POS via service uploader installed on the shop's host computer. For more information on that connection please see Establishing a connection with ROWriter Gen 1

Above are the items we are able to read in a sync with RO Writer 1.0. Please note that our ability to connect with RO Writer 1.0 is currently only a one-way connection. We are able to read information from RO Writer 1.0 but we are not able to write information back to RO Writer 1.0.
