Invalid Customers Report

In the Customers section of Analytics in Retention Pro you will find the Invalid Customers report

The Invalid Customers report in Retention Pro can be useful for determining where customer information may need to be updated.  For example; if you noticed that you didn't have a lot of customers showing as available to send a Direct Mail campaign to, you could check the Invalid Customers report and see if you may need to adjust or update customer addresses to allow them to receive mail campaigns.  

Customer information will need to be updated in your Point of Sale system and then it will update in Retention Pro at the time of the next sync.  Please see the article related to your specific Point of Sale system for more information on when we sync with it.


To access the Invalid Customers report you would first go to Analytics at the top of your Retention Pro screen and then select Customers from the left side menu.  There you will find Invalid Customers on the right side of the screen.

Once the Invalid Customers report is open you will find that it is broken down into 3 list categories. At the top of each category you will have a Print button to allow you to print that list of customers.  Printing the lists can make it easier to "check off" customers as you are updating information in your Point Of Sale system.

At the bottom of each category you can see the total number of customers who are showing on that list by seeing the number included with "Showing 1 to 10 of .... entries".  If it shows that there are 55 entries then that means that there are 55 customers on the listing.

The first set of Data will be Invalid Addresses

This listing will include any customer whose address was unable to be validated as a deliverable address.  This could be for an incorrect street name, incomplete address, or a misspelling.  You can review the customers listed, search using the search box at the top right, or print the list using the Print button. 

 

Next will be Invalid Phones

This listing will include any customer whose phone number was unable to be validated as a valid and text-able phone number.  Sometimes this could be caused by an incorrect area code or a missing number. You can review the customers listed, search using the search box at the top right, or print the list using the Print button. 


Finally you will find Invalid Emails

This listing will include any customer whose email address was unable to be validated to receive emails.  If you enter "None", "X", or "No Email" when customers do not provide an email address they will show up here but it can also include incorrect email addresses. You can review the customers listed, search using the search box at the top right, or print the list using the Print button.
