When Should I Use One-Time Email vs Continuous Email?

Consider the volume of emails you want to send in a day and the scope of customers you wish to engage with when deciding between a One-Time or Continuous email campaign.

A One-Time Email Campaign will send a “blast” of messages at once to a large number of customers.  This can be very useful for special events, sales, or notifications that you would like to have reach a large number of customers at once. There is no limit on how many customers can be sent a one-time email campaign.

Continuous Email Campaign sends daily to customers that hit a “trigger” on that particular day.  For example, a follow up message requesting reviews will send daily to customers who meet the trigger criteria on the selected time frame after a repair order is closed.  Service Reminder campaigns are also continuous campaigns and they will send out a list to customers of previously recommended services while prompting them to make an appointment.
