What are points and how do they work?

We use “points” to purchase mail in Retention Pro; the easy way to translate points to dollars is that each point equals one penny (or a penny a point)

One time campaigns will show the points per piece, additional cost for first class delivery and the total points to send the campaign.  To find this information you will look to the left side of the campaign edit screen where it says "Pricing"

Below you'll see a letter we're using as an example, which is 150 points per piece. Based on the filters chosen on this campaign to send it would be 107,850 points. If you wanted to choose First-Class Delivery the points will update to reflect the additional 20 points per piece. This would equal out to $1.50 per piece or $1,078.50 for the total chosen to send.

The system will purchase points for you automatically based on the number of points you need if you do not have the points pre-purchased.

You can purchase points in advance from the Billing page and there will be a discount available based on how many points you are purchasing. For more information on the Billing page see Billing Management

For Canadian points purchases please see Canadian Mailer Sizes and Pricing

All points are purchased in USD.
