User Role Definitions

Things To Note

• The NextGear application has different roles for users, and each role includes its own set of permissions within the system.

• A user can have multiple roles in NextGear

Roles

1. Technician

   1. Performs the shop's technician duties

   2. This role has standard privileges

2. Service Advisor

   1. Performs the shop's service advisor duties

   2. This role has standard privileges

3. Owner/Manager

   1. Owns the shop and/or Manages the shop's operations

   2. This role has administrative privileges

4. Administrator

   1. Serves as an Administrator for the shop's next gear settings/privileges

   2. To grant a User/Employee administrative privileges:

      1. Add the Administrator check mark to the Employee Roles
