How to follow an inspection workflow status from Waiting to Close

You can now view and edit your Next Gear inspections from any work station, tablet, or device with a web browser
How To

Open a web browser and go to nextgear.boltontechnology.com

This is the main log in page for the Next Gear application

Enter your Cell Phone number into the text field with the mobile device icon
-
Select the Send Access Code button
-
You will receive an Access Code via text message and email to the phone number and account email that was provided

Enter the Access code in the provided text field

To stay logged into your account select the checkbox provided
-
Select the Sign in button to proceed
-
Select your shop location by selecting the corresponding button

To Add a new location select the add location button

Select the Inspections link from the header at the top of the Next Gear application
-
Your shop's inspections will be listed on the Inspection view
-
This view gives you the basic information about an inspection
-
Customer name, vehicle type, type of inspection, general picture of detail health showing number of points in each color (red, yellow, green)

From this screen you can see the current status of all of your inspections denoted by the blue text box located to right of the inspections general information

To View a specific inspections workflow

Select the inspection you want to view

Select the blue text field under the customer and vehicle information

You can see the progress and times from this view

The Waiting status is that the inspection has been created but not started yet
-
This moves to the In Progress status after the inspection is started by filling out an inspection point
-
Once the inspection is completely filled out with notes/recs/pictures and checkboxes it will move into the Complete status

If you share an inspection with a customer it will move into the Shared status
-
You can see that a customer has viewed their digital multipoint inspection once the status has changed to VIEWED BY CUSTOMER

When the customer is ready to checkout the inspection will be in the Checkout phase

After checkout the inspection will be Closed
