Recommended Printers

  1. Recommended printers are Dymo 450 with DuraReady labels or a Godex printer.

  2. Dymo Labelwriter 450 printers are out of production but previously were recommended with DuraReady labels, so the next closest recommendation for an adhesive label printer would be the Dymo 550 and the shop can determine whether they want to use the Dymo Durable labels or regular Dymo adhesive labels.

We do not recommend any Zebra printer, not even a Plus model. While the plus model may work, it is only a 50/50 chance as many of the Zebra printers for the Automotive Industry have been flashed with a custom firmware specifically designed to work with a keypad only. The serial number on the printer will end with the letter C indicating that is "Customized". This is an indicator that it will not be compatible.

Unofficially Supported

These printers are not fully supported or compatible.  While we will make an effort to install and configure them, we cannot assure their performance. If any issues arise or the printer ceases to function properly, it will need to be replaced with a printer from our list of officially supported models.
