Recommended Printers

  1. Recommended printers are Dymo 450 with DuraReady labels or a Godex printer.

  2. While the Dymo LabelWriter 450 is discontinued, it was previously recommended for use with DuraReady labels. The current comparable adhesive label printer is the Dymo 550. Your shop will need to decide between using Dymo Durable labels or regular Dymo adhesive labels with this printer.

We do not recommend using any Zebra printers, including Plus models. Even when a Plus model is working, compatibility is only about 50/50 because many Zebra printers used in the automotive industry are flashed with custom firmware designed to work exclusively with a keypad. The serial number on the printer will end with the letter C indicating that is "Customized" as an indicator that it will not be compatible.

Unofficially Supported

These printers are not fully supported or guaranteed to be compatible. We will make an effort to install and configure them, but we cannot guarantee performance or reliability. If issues occur or the printer stops functioning correctly, it will need to be replaced with a model from our list of officially supported printers.
