Sharing Estimate and Repair Order Details from Mobile Manager Pro
Things to Note
- Mobile Manager Pro helps your shop go paperless by keeping estimates and repair orders on the tablet. All work assigned to the technician appears here, just as it would on a traditional work order.
How To
- From the Work In Progress screen on the tablet, tap on an invoice or RO to open.
- Select the order tab at the top
- Tap the three dots in the top right hand corner and select share.
- This opens three options: Share via text, Share via…, and Preview in web browser.
- When you select Share via text, the system automatically pulls the primary phone number from the customer record and generates a text message for the customer: “Here is your digital copy of your Repair Order, Estimate, Invoice:” with a unique digital link for that work order.
- Selecting “Share via…” opens the tablet’s sharing options, such as the default email app, Bluetooth, calendar, Samsung Notes (on Samsung tablets), and an option to copy the generated digital link.
- The third option, Preview in web browser, opens the digital copy link in the tablet’s default browser so you can preview it or show it to the customer in person.
- This opens three options: Share via text, Share via…, and Preview in web browser.
