Setting ACH for Points Purchases

ACH Can only be used for Points Purchases within Retention Pro, not for monthly subscription billing.

What is ACH?

Automated Clearing House (ACH) payments are electronic payments that pull funds directly from a checking account. Instead of using a credit card customers can use ACH to have the money move automatically from a checking account.

Why is ACH helpful?

ACH reduces fees. (certain services charge a per transaction fee whereas ACH has no additional service fees). Many people feel more confident in ACH transactions as opposed to leveraging credit card transactions. 

What can shops use ACH for?

At this time ACH is only available for points purchases. 


How to access/set-up ACH:

First click on Management at the top of your screen, then select Billing from the left side menu.  Once on the Billing page find Payment Methods on the right hand side and click on the button for Add ACH

This will open a dialog using Plaid to connect to your bank account.

A prompt will appear with User Privacy Policy if you would like to read it. Click Continue once you’ve gone over this.

Choose the bank that you’re affiliated with.

Enter your bank credentials

Choose the account that would be directly billed and you're all set to go!
