      How to set up NextGear with an integrated Shop Management System(SMS)

      Things To Note

      • The Cloud Management System Integration setting allows you to activate an integration with a shop management system that integrates with NextGear

      How To

      1. Log into your Account Management Portal, Click here for steps to log in or log in to NextGear directly via nextgearshop.com 

      2. Under the NextGear heading in settings, click SMS integration

        1. SMS Integration setting allows you to activate an integration with a shop management system that can integrate with NextGear

      3. To Activate an SMS integration

        1. If Adding a New SMS

          1. Click the circle Plus (+) in the bottom right

            1. This will prompt you to select a management system

              1. CDK

              2. Protractor

              3. Tasco

              4. TekMetric

          2. Select the correct Management System

          3. Fill in the fields requested

          4. Click Ok to save

          5. The Management System will show a green Active

        2. To Activate a Previous SMS

          1. Click the 3 Dots to the right of the management system

          2. Select Set Active

        3. To Deactivate an SMS integration

          1. Click the 3 Dots to the right of the Management System

          2. Select Set Inactive

            1. The Management system will show a grey Inactive
