How to send a Message Using Next Gear Messaging through a Conversation

Things To Note

  • You can now create, view and edit your inspections from any work station, tablet, or device from a web browser

  • You can email your inspections right from the Next Gear Dashboard

  • Messaging works like most other Messaging applications and you can view your messages directly through the Next Gear Dashboard

How To

  1. Open a web browser and go to nextgear.boltontechnology.com

    1. This is the main log in page for the Next gear application

    2. Enter your company's credentials

      1. If you do not have credentials and need to register see below, if you have credentials continue to step 2

        1. Select Register under the Login button

        2. Enter your shops phone number

        3. Select the Register button

          1. You will receive an email from Bolt On Technology

          2. From the email select confirm my account registration

          3. Fill out the fields needed

          4. Select Finish and proceed to the next step of this page

  2. Select the Inspections link from the header at the top of the Next Gear application

    1. Select Messaging from the top header bar of the page

      1. Your existing conversations will be shown in the page

        1. Select the desired conversation from the list

          1. You can now scroll through and view the conversation history

          2. You can reply to the selected message by typing your reply in the text view and selecting the send button
