How to rename an existing inspection template in Next Gear

• You can now create, view, and edit your Next Gear inspections from any workstation, tablet, or device with an internet browser

How To

1. Open a web browser and go to  nextgear.boltontechnology.com  

   1. This is the main log in page for the Next Gear application

   2. Enter your Cell Phone number into the text field with the mobile device icon

      1. Select the Send Access Code button

      2. You will receive an Access Code via text message and email to the phone number and account email that was provided

      3. Enter the Access code in the provided text field

      4. To stay logged into your account select the checkbox provided

      5. Select the Sign in button to proceed

         1. Select your shop location by selecting the corresponding button

         2. To Add a new location select the add location button

      6. Proceed to the next step of this page below

   3. To create an account see Create an Account

2. From the inspection view of the Next Gear application

   1. Select the Settings option from the top right of page (the gear icon)

      1. On the left of the page under the NextGear heading

      2. Select the Inspection Editor button

         1. Select the corresponding 3 dot button to the right of the Inspection you would like to rename

            1. Select Rename from the pop up menu

            2. From the Rename Inspection pop up window

               1. Type the new name into the text field

               2. Select Ok to confirm or Cancel to cancel
