Retention Pro Points and How They Work

In Retention Pro, we utilize a system of “points” for mail purchases. Each point is equivalent to one cent, meaning that 100 points is equal to one dollar.

One-time campaigns provide details on the points required per piece, the extra charge for first-class delivery, and the overall points needed to send the campaign. You can find this information on the left side of the campaign edit screen under the section labeled "Pricing."

Below you'll see a letter we're using as an example, which is 150 points per piece. The total cost to send this campaign, based on the selected filters, would amount to 107,850 points. This translates to a cost of $1.50 for each individual piece, resulting in a total expense of $1,078.50 for the entire selected campaign. If you opt for First-Class Delivery for the campaign, the points will adjust to include an additional charge of 20 points, which is equivalent to 20 cents, for each piece.

If you haven't pre-purchased the necessary points, the system will automatically purchase the required points, ensuring you have what you need to activate the campaign.

You can pre-purchase points through the Billing page, where discounts are available based on the quantity of points you buy.  For more information on the Billing page see Billing Management

For Canadian points purchases please see Canadian Mailer Sizes and Pricing

All points are purchased in USD.
