NextGear Messaging

Please note that if you are using the Retention Pro + NextGear integration you will need to refer to the article for that integration.

NextGear Messaging Page

You can view a list of your message threads, search them by customer name / phone number, and create new message threads on your NextGear message page.

  • Login to your NextGear account.

  • Click the navigation icon at the top right.

  • Click Messaging

Creating a New Message

You can create a new message thread with a customer by clicking the ➕ icon on the bottom right of the messaging page.

When you click the ➕ icon you will have the ability to either search an existing customer available in your NextGear account or add a brand new customer to text.

Incoming Message Notifications

When you receive a new text message from your customer it will display as a blue notification at the top of your screen. Clicking on the notification will open your messenger so that you can respond.

After you have responded you can click the [x] at the top right of your messenger to return to what you were previously doing in your NextGear account.
