- Check the tablet within Mobile Manager to determine if the customer has an appointment for the day and start the estimate process accordingly.
- Searches for returning customers or adds new ones into the system
- Discusses the vehicle’s needs or concerns with the customer including any recommendations from previous visits.
- Adds jobs to estimates and converts them into repair orders, printing of lube stickers and obtaining customers signatures.
- Schedules the next appointment when the customer pays the invoice and is ready to pick up their vehicle
- Technician
- Possesses a comprehensive understanding of how to utilize the Mobile Manager system
- Access and views only the jobs assigned to them within the system
- Familiarizes themselves with labor lines, part lines and any notes presented in the order tab
- Knows how to retrieve repair information efficiently within the system
- Utilizes the history feature to review past work and reference previous repairs
- Initiates inspections within the system and follows the four-step process throughout the inspections
- Recognizing the significance of technician notes and recommendations, understanding why both are necessary for effective communication and documentation.
- Understands the purpose of taking pictures during inspection, knowing how and when to capture relevant images.
- Ensures completion of all inspection points outlined in the process
- Reviews the inspection scoreboard upon completion, making any necessary additions or adjustments to ensure the inspection is comprehensive
- Marks the job as complete within the system once all tasks have been completed.
