Mobile Manager Pro Over The Road - Tablet Configuration

Steps for Configuring a Tablet for use with Mobile Manager Pro Over The Road.

Mobile Manager Pro Over The Road is when Mobile Manager Pro is used with tablets connected to a mobile/cellular network instead of using a Wi-Fi connection.

Mobile Manager Pro Over The Road requires port forwarding to be set up in order to function properly. This must be completed by your shop’s IT provider or your internet service provider.

Step 1: Initial Tablet Set Up

  • Make sure your tablet is fully charged and all required updates have been completed.

  • Turn the tablet on and confirm it’s connected to a Wi‑Fi network.
    • (Optional) Set up a Google account on each tablet to enhance your overall experience.
  • We recommend setting/adjusting your tablet’s screen timeout to at least 10 minutes. This helps keep the screen active for the entire inspection and prevents interruptions. To update this setting on most devices, open the Settings app, tap Display, then look for and select Screen Timeout or Lock Screen. From there, choose the length of time before the screen automatically turns off.

To enable seamless remote support from our Bolt On Technology support team, we kindly request you download the “Rescue + Mobile for Android” application after signing into your Google account. This application will facilitate direct assistance for a smooth and efficient troubleshooting experience.

    • Select “Install” option and wait a few minutes for the installation to complete.

Step 3: Configure Mobile Settings on Host Computer

From the host computer, launch the Propack application, select “Report Pro” then “Settings” from the top navigation bar
