Mitchell 1 - Tablet Configuration

Step 1: Initial Tablet Set Up

  • Ensure tablet is fully charged and all required updates are complete.

  • Power on tablet and make sure it’s connected to Wi-Fi.

  • (Optional) Set up Google account on each tablet to enhance your overall experience.

  • We recommend adjusting your tablet's screen timeout settings to at least 10 minutes. This adjustment will help ensure that the screen remains active throughout the inspection, preventing any interruptions. To adjust the screen timeout settings on most devices, navigate to the Settings app, select the Display option, and then locate and choose Screen Timeout or Lock Screen. This will allow you to set the duration before the screen automatically turns off. 

To enable seamless remote support from our Bolt On Technology support team, we kindly request you download the “Rescue + Mobile for Android” application after signing into your Google account. This application will facilitate direct assistance for a smooth and efficient troubleshooting experience.


Step 2: Mobile Manager Installation

  • Open Google Chrome. In the address bar, type the following link: the14.me/mm and press “Enter” to proceed.

  • After being redirected to the download site, you may encounter a warning message. Click on the “Download Anyway” button to initiate the download process.

  • Once the download is complete, if a pop-up window appears asking for confirmation to open the file, select “Open.” If no pop-up appears, navigate to the folder where the file was saved and double click to open

  • Select “Install” option and wait a few minutes for the installation to complete.

Step 3: Configure Mobile Settings on Host Computer

 

 
  • From the host computer, launch the Propack application, select “Report Pro” then “Settings” from the top navigation bar

  • From “Settings” look for and click on “Mobile Config”. If Windows prompts for permission, select "Allow" to continue. A new window displaying a QR code will appear—keep this window open.

    Tablet Configuration

  • From your tablet, launch the Mobile Manager app.

  • Click on the three horizontal lines in the left hand corner to access the menu.

  • Select “Settings”

    • On this screen you will need to manually input the IP Address and Port Number displayed on the "Mobile Config" window above the QR Code.
      IPandPort
      • Tap the fields for the IP Address and Port in your Mobile Manager Settings to enter the information shown on the Mobile Config screen. After entering the details, click the magnifying glass icon next to the IP Address to establish the connection.

If you are using a previous version of Mobile Manager Pro, you may need to scan the QR Code instead of entering the IP Address and Port. Click “Scan Settings Code” and aim the tablet's camera at the QR Code on the host PC to retrieve the necessary configuration settings.
