How Do You Enable Sirius XM With Retention Pro?

By enabling Sirius XM in Retention Pro your customers will be eligible for a free 3 month trial of Sirius XM if it is available.

How To:

  • From the top of your Retention Pro screen select Management

  • Under Company Settings find “SiriusXM”

  • Enter your information into the form, accept the Terms and Conditions, and then click “Sign Up.”

  • Check your email inbox for a confirmation email and click “Confirm Your Email”.

    • After this is complete, you’ll be taken to a “Thank You” page confirming your enrollment.

To confirm everything is set up correctly, go back to Management, open Company Settings, and select SiriusXM. You should see the message “You are enrolled in SiriusXM,” and the “Enable SiriusXM” toggle should be switched on. 

 

To make sure eligible customers receive their free 3‑month SiriusXM trial, complete each repair order with the following information:

  • VIN

  • Customer Full Name

  • Customer Street Address (including City, State, and ZIP)

  • Customer Email

When a repair order is closed or posted, Retention Pro automatically and securely sends the vehicle’s VIN and the customer’s contact information to SiriusXM. Service writers do not need to distribute any paperwork, promo codes, or coupons.

How It Works For Your Customer

Within a few days of the service visit, SiriusXM confirms the vehicle’s radio eligibility and sends the customer an email or physical letter explaining that the trial is a complimentary gift from your shop.

There is no catch—the trial does not require a credit card and automatically ends after 3 months. When it’s started by the customer, SiriusXM activates the radio remotely, and the customer simply turns on their radio to begin listening.
