How Do I Set Up Auto Responder In Message Manager Pro?

Auto Responder in Message Manager Pro will send an automated reply to customers who text in after your business hours.

Things To Note

  • Auto Responder can only send replies while Message Manager Pro is running.  If you would like to use Auto Responder then you will need to leave a computer with Message Manager Pro running overnight. 

How To

  1. Open Message Manager Pro
  2. Click on Settings at the top of the window
  3. Select Auto Responder from the Settings options
  4. From the Auto Responder Settings section you can click the checkbox for Enable Auto Responder During After Hours to activate the Auto Responder
    1. After Hours Start Time is where you would put the time your shop closes or the time you would like for the Auto Responder to begin replying to messages
    2. After Hours End Time is where you would put the time your shop opens or the time you would like for the Auto Responder to stop replying to messages
  5. To change the message the Auto Responder sends, click in the Auto Response Message text box and make the desired changes. 
    1. By default there will be CustomerName in brackets, this is where the system auto-populates the name of the customer it is replying to.  It is important that you do not change or adjust the brackets (or what is in them) if you wish for the customer name to be included.
  6. Click on Save & Close from the left side menu once you are finished making changes.
