How Do I Pause Campaigns?

To prevent campaigns from sending to your customers for a few days or over a specific time frame you can add a Custom Campaign Hold.

First go to Campaigns and then select Settings from the left side menu. The Custom Campaign Holds area will be at the top left of that page.

 

For example, if you plan to close for a week the hold will prevent customers from receiving any text messages during this time. Put the Start date as the first day you will be away and the End date as the last day. Campaigns will start back the following business day.

This will also stop direct mail campaigns and block appointments from being made on those days if you use the Retention Pro appointment scheduler.
