How Do I Add or Change a User on the Mobile Manager Pro Tablet?

Adding or Changing the User assigned to a tablet for Mobile Manager Pro will need to be done on the tablet you want them assigned to.

Things To Note

  • The assigned users list originates from your shop’s management system, using the Service Writers and Technician list. 

How To

  1. Open Mobile Manager Pro on the desired tablet.
  2. Use the top left menu options and select User.
    1. If a user is currently assigned to that tablet, the menu will show the name of the logged-in user instead of the word "User."
  3. Use the drop down menu to assign the user desired for the tablet
    1. If desired, a profile picture may be taken for the user with the  ‘Take Profile Picture’ option
  4. Once assigned, select OK to return to Work In Progress
    1. Using the top right menu options, if you selected a technician, you would then go to the right menu which is the three dots in the top right
    2. In the display you'll see there is Estimate, Ro and Invoice. Remove the check on invoice if technicians do not need to view or do anything with invoices. 
    3. Then at the bottom where it says "filter by technician" change that to the technician you just assigned the tablet to.
      1. This ensures that only the Estimates and Repair Orders associated with the assigned technician will be displayed on that tablet.
    1. Click okay
