We do not have a print or export function built into the Retention Pro messaging center but there are ways you can save and print text messages manually.
Currently, Retention Pro's messaging center does not include a feature for automatically printing or exporting text message history. However, we have a couple of suggestions for how you can manually save and print conversations when needed.
Using "Print Screen" on your Computer
On your computer keyboard, look for a key labeled "Print Screen," "Prt Scn," or "Prt Sc." This key is usually located at the top of the keyboard, either in the function key row or just above the number pad, depending on your keyboard's design.
The Print Screen button on your keyboard is used to capture a screenshot of your computer screen. When pressed, it will copy an image of the entire screen to your clipboard. Press the button when you have the conversation open on your screen and you will be able to take a screenshot of the messages you are currently viewing.
After capturing the screenshot, you can paste it into an application such as Paint or Microsoft Word to save it as an image or document file. Once you've saved the file, you can easily print it out.
Using Snipping Tool on your computer
The Snipping Tool (sometimes called Snip & Sketch) is a built-in Windows application that is used to capture screenshots of your computer screen. It allows you to take images of the entire screen, a specific window, a rectangular area, or a free-form area. The advantage of using this option over the Print Screen option is that you can take a screenshot of only the conversation window in the messaging center and not of your full computer screen.
To access Snipping Tool you would type the words "snipping tool" into the windows search box at the bottom of your screen.
Once you have captured the screenshot, snipping tool allows you to save it as an image file on your computer. After saving the file, you can print it directly from your image viewer or file directory.
