GEM-CAR Retention Pro Capabilities

This article is for the connection between Retention Pro and GEM-CAR

The data connection or "sync" between the GEM-CAR system and Retention Pro is triggered by adding new information into your GEM-CAR system.  This means that if you add a new Repair Order or Customer in GEM-CAR it will trigger a sync automatically with Retention Pro to bring that information into our system.

Information:

Retention Pro remains connected to the GEM-CAR shop management system via a service uploader installed on your shop's host computer. For more information on connecting please see Establishing a connection with GEM-CAR

Above are the items we are able to read in a sync with GEM-CAR.  Please note that our ability to connect with GEM-CAR is currently only a one-way connection unless you have webhooks enabled.  Two way sync capabilities are only available if you have set up webhooks for the connection between GEM-CAR and Retention Pro.
