Things To Note

• Allow for programs to change when adding permissions. If this is not set, you’ll need to manually update permissions every time our programs are updated, which can be as often as weekly.

• If Intrusion Protection Service (IPS) is active on the firewall or Host Intrusion Protection Service (HIPS) is active on the computers, exclusions are required for our URL's, primarily for automatic updates that download a self-extracting zip file from http://download.boltontechnology.com for each of our programs.

Programs to Allow

The following programs should be added as Scan Exclusions, RealTime (SONAR) scans and set to Always Allow in program control of your Anti-Virus. These files should also be added with Always Allow permissions in your Firewall, whether it be Windows Firewall, Anti-Virus Firewall or a Hardware Firewall on your network.
