Enable or Disable Work Order Pop-up Settings for Mobile Manager Pro

This method facilitates the exchange of vehicle notes between service writers and technicians.

Things To Note

  • The memos will show up in both your mobile management system and Mobile Manager under the vehicle tab

How To

  1. From your tablet open Mobile Manager Pro
    1. Locate the options button on the action bar next to the Mobile Manager title
    2. Select the options button
    3. Select the settings option from the drop down list
  2. Under the Work Order heading select or deselect the check box marked Show Customer Vehicle  Popup When opening a Work Order
    1. When selected this function it gives the option pass notes on a vehicle between Mobile Manager and your shop management system.
      1. Service writers or Techs can put notes in the System and they will be passed to the tablets or vice versa " The wheel lock keys are in the glove box"  etc..
    2. To leave a note on the vehicle from Mobile Manager
      1. Select a work order from the work in progress screen
      2. Use the top tabs and select the vehicle tab
      3. Press the text field under Vehicle memo
      4. Either type or use the voice to text function to leave memo
    3. To leave or view a note from a mobile management system..
      1. From the WIP screen select a work order
      2. Select the vehicle tab and view the memo in the memo text field
      3. You can edit this memo, delete the text, or write a new memo from this screen.
      4. You can view this memo in Mobile Management, it will be in the text field mentioned above.
