Enable and Configure Status Tracker

This article will guide you through how to enable and configure the Automatic Status Tracker feature in Message Manager Pro

Things To Note

  • Only for Mitchell1 Teamworks/Shopkey Pro users
  • These messages are sent through Message Manager Pro, so it must always remain open on the host computer in order for the Automatic Status Tracker messages to be sent.

  • This feature automatically sends the customer a link that contains information regarding the current status of their vehicle while it is in for service.

  • Your message must contain the built in [StatusTrackerLink] wildcard in order to function

  • This is a great feature to help reduce phone calls to/from a customer informing them of the progress of their vehicle’s repairs.

How To

  1. From Message Manager Pro

    1. Select the Settings tab from the top menu

    2. Click on the General box

    3. Select the Status Tracker box from the left side of the menu

      1. Click on the Enable Automatic Status Tracker checkbox

      2. Edit the Status Tracker Message to contain what you would like to be sent to a customer as work is being completed on their vehicle. 

  2. Click Save & Close

Make sure the Status Tracker Message contains the [StatusTrackerLink] wildcard
