Edit Shop Information And Billing Information in NextGear

How to edit your shop's information, logo, and billing information in the Next Gear application

Things To Note

  • Next Gear allows you to create and edit Inspections from any web browser

How To

  1. Open a web browser and go to  nextgear.boltontechnology.com  

    1. This is the main log in page for the Next Gear application

    2. Enter your Cell Phone number into the text field with the mobile device icon

      1. Select the Send Access Code button

      2. You will receive an Access Code via text message and email to the phone number and account email that was provided

      3. Enter the Access code in the provided text field

      4. To stay logged into your account select the checkbox provided

      5. Select the Sign in button to proceed

  1. From the inspection view of the Next Gear application

    1. Select the Settings option from the top right of page (the gear icon)

      1. Edit Shop Information - On the left of the page under the Account heading

        1. Select the Shop Information button

        2. Review your shop information

        3. Make any necessary changes by typing the appropriate data in the text fields

        4. Select the checkmark button at the bottom right hand corner of the page to save your new shop information

      2. Edit Shop Logo - On the left of the page under the Account heading

        1. Select the Shop Information button

        2. Under the Shop Logo header

        3. Select the button

        4. Search for your shop logo on your computer

        5. Select your logo - It will now be visible under the Shop Logo header

        6. Select the check mark ✔️ at the bottom right hand corner to save

      3. Edit Billing Information - On the left of the page under the Account  heading

        1. Select the Billing Information button

        2. Review your billing information

        3. Make any necessary changes by typing the appropriate data in the text fields

        4. Select the checkmark button ☑️ at the bottom right hand corner of the page to save your new billing information
