How to edit the inspection label text your customer sees when you share an inspection

Things To Note

  • Next Gear allows you to create and edit Inspections from any web browser

How To

  1. Open a web browser and go to nextgear.boltontechnology.com  

    1. This is the main log in page for the Next Gear application

    2. Enter your Cell Phone number into the text field with the mobile device icon

      1. Select the Send Access Code button

      2. Enter the Access code in the provided text field

      3. To stay logged into your account select the checkbox provided

      4. Select the Sign in button to proceed

  2. From the inspection view of the Next Gear application

    1. Select the Settings option from the top right of page (the gear icon)

      1. On the left of the page under the Inspection heading

        1. Select the General button

        2. Under the Inspection Label header

          1. Enter the text you would like your customer to see next to the corresponding color label

          2. Select the checkmark icon at the bottom right hand corner to save your changes
