Edit a Work Order

Things To Note

• You can now create, view and edit your inspections from any work station, tablet, or device with a web browser

How To

1. Open a web browser and go to  nextgear.boltontechnology.com  

   1. This is the main log in page for the Next Gear application

   2. Enter your Cell Phone number into the text field with the mobile device icon

      1. Select the Send Access Code button

      2. You will receive an Access Code via text message and email to the phone number and account email that was provided

      3. Enter the Access code in the provided text field

      4. To stay logged into your account select the checkbox provided

      5. Select the Sign in button to proceed

2. Select the Inspections option from the header at the top of the Next Gear application

   1. Your shop's inspections will be listed on the Inspection view

      1. This view gives you the basic information about an inspection

         1. Customer name, vehicle type, type of inspection, general picture of detail health with number of points in each color (red, yellow, green)

         2. Select the 3 dot button to the right of the desired inspection work order you would like to edit

         3. Select Edit Work Order from the menu

         4. From the Edit Work Order pop up window

            1. Enter the proper: 

               1. Labor Total 

               2. Parts Total 

               3. Misc. Total 

               4. Tax Total

               5. Total

            2. Select Ok to confirm or Cancel to cancel
