How to delete an inspection point on an existing inspection template in Next Gear
Things To Note

If you delete an Inspection point the notes/recs associated with it will be lost also. Consider Renaming it.
How To

Open a web browser and go to nextgear.boltontechnology.com

This is the main log in page for the Next Gear application

Enter your Cell Phone number into the text field with the mobile device icon

Select the Send Access Code button
-
You will receive an Access Code via text message and email to the phone number and account email that was provided

Enter the Access code in the provided text field
-
To stay logged into your account select the checkbox provided
-
Select the Sign in button to proceed
-
Select your shop location by selecting the corresponding button

To Add a new location select the add location button

From the inspection view of the Next Gear application

Select the Settings option from the top right of page (the gear icon)

On the left of the page under the NextGear heading

Select the Inspection Editor button

Select the Inspection you would like to edit
-
From the Groups Page
-
Groups will keep your inspection points organized; for example, you may have a Group named Brake System on this inspection template and under that you will have all of your brake check point descriptions

Select the Group that the inspection point you would like to remove is located under

From the Points screen

Select the 3 dot button to the right of the point that you want to remove

Select Delete from the pop up menu

From the Delete point pop up window

Select Yes to confirm or No to cancel
