Customize the Parts Profit With Excluded Categories Report

Things To Note

• In Report Pro, under the Accounting folder, is a report titled Parts Profit with Excluded Categories. Use the Exclude Categories option to separate selected categories from your overall parts profit..

  • This creates 3 sections for parts profit calculation: one for parts except where the category is separated, one for the separated categories, and one for the overall.

• A couple of common categories that are useful to exclude are Tires and Batteries due to the typically low markup associated with them.

How To

1. Open your Report Pro software

2. On the left of Report Pro under the Accounting File heading select PARTS PROFIT WITH EXCLUDED CATEGORIES

   1. From the Parts Profit with Excluded Categories Report

      1. Select the start date for the report

      2. Select the end date for the report

      3. In the Excluded Categories

         1. Select the checkboxes next to the categories you would like to exclude

      4. Select the refresh button marked with 2 blue arrows (the report will refresh and update)
