Creating an MV431 Inspection Entry

• If prior inspections have been completed, the most recent insurance details and mileage will fill in automatically.

How To

1. Open Mitchell/Shopkey

2. Open the work order you want to complete an inspection for.

3. Click on the Pro Pack button to launch the Pro Pack menu

4. Click on MV-431 to launch it

5. Make sure the sticker number automatically selected in MV-431 matches the sticker applied to the vehicle.

6. Complete all of the required fields

   1. If any data discrepancies are detected, a notification will appear on the verification screen.

7. Submit the sticker to the book

8. Ensure the labor line has been properly updated with the information
