      How to write an inspection in MV431

      Things To Note

      • If previous inspections have been done the last insurance information and mileage will be prefilled

      How To

      1. Open Mitchell/Shopkey

      2. Open the Work order that you wish to do an inspection entry for

      3. Click on the Pro Pack button to launch the Pro Pack menu

      4. Click on MV-431 to launch

      5. Be sure the sticker number selected in MV431 automatically matches the sticker applied to the vehicle

      6. Complete all of the required fields

        1. If there is an issue with the data, you will be notified by the verification screen

      7. Submit the sticker to the book

      8. Ensure the labor line has been properly updated with the information
