Costar Retention Pro Capabilities

This article is for the connection between Retention Pro and Costar

The data connection or "sync" between the Costar system and Retention Pro is triggered by adding new information into your Costar system.  This means that if you add a new Repair Order or Customer in Costar it will trigger a sync automatically with Retention Pro to bring that information into our system.

Information:

Retention Pro remains connected to the Costar POS via a service uploader installed on your shop's host computer. For information about connecting with Costar please see Establishing a connection with Costar

Above are the items we are able to read in a sync with Costar.  Please note that our ability to connect with Costar is currently only a one-way connection.  We are able to read information from Costar but we are not able to write information back to Costar.
