Copy An Inspection Template

Things To Note

• You can create, view, and edit your Next Gear inspections from any work station, tablet, or device from a web browser

• You can use a copy of your inspection template to make small edits without creating a whole new inspection

How To

1. Open a web browser and go to  nextgear.boltontechnology.com  

   1. This is the main log in page for the Next Gear application

   2. Enter your Cell Phone number into the text field with the mobile device icon

      1. Select the Send Access Code button

      2. You will receive an Access Code via text message and email to the phone number and account email that was provided

      3. Enter the Access code in the provided text field

      4. To stay logged into your account select the checkbox provided

      5. Select the Sign in button to proceed

         1. Select your shop location by selecting the corresponding button

         2. To Add a new location select the add location button

2. From the inspection view of the Next Gear application

   1. Select the Settings option from the top right of page (the gear icon)

      1. On the left of the page under the NextGear heading

      2. Select the Inspection Editor button

      3. Select the 3 dots to the right of the Inspection you want to copy

         1. Select Duplicate from the pop up menu

         2. From the Duplicate Inspection pop up window

            1. Select Yes to confirm or No to cancel

   2. You will now see in your inspection Template list “CopyOf(YourInspectionName)”

   3. Edit this copy how you see fit
