How to connect and reconnect Mobile Manager Pro tablets to server computer on local network

Things To Note

  • Depending on router settings server computers may have different IP addresses. If this occurs frequently an IP address reservation will be needed which Support can assist with configuring.

  • Replacement server computers or replaced network hardware may require reconfiguring of Mobile Manager Pro tablets to the new IP address

  • Even if the IP address information is correct, if a Mobile Manager Pro tablet is on the incorrect Wi-Fi network, it will not connect. Tablets should only have one known and remembered connection, the correct private Wi-Fi network.

How To

  1. Open Report Pro on shop management system database host computer

  2. Click on Settings

  3. Open Mobile Config

  4. Ensure IP address is set to “IP Address” and not “Public IP Address”

    1. If the IP address is set to "Public IP Address" double click the name "Public IP Address" to switch it back

  5. Open Mobile Manager Pro on tablet

  6. Use top left option menu and select Settings

  7. Enter IP and port settings from Mobile Config in Mobile Manager Pro via two methods

    1. Select Scan Settings Code

      1. Point camera at QR code generated by Mobile Config

      2. Mobile Manager Pro will automatically read the QR code and enter the IP address and port

    2. Enter the IP address and Port manually

  8. Select top left option menu and tap on Work In Progress

  9. Orders should populate as per filter settings
