In Settings, click Messaging under the NextGear heading

Appointment Reminders

Appointment reminders are an automated feature in NextGear. Enabling this setting will allow your shop to automatically to send out appointment reminders to each of your scheduled customers 7 days before their appointment. The customer will receive the message in the “Appointment Reminder” template.

Appointment Reminder Template

This message will be sent to customers 7 days before the appointment if Appointment Reminders are enabled.

Wildcards are used to automatically input customer information

For Example: The wildcard "[Vehicle]" will input that specific customer's vehicle Year, Make, and Model into that part of the text message.

Text To Pay Template

Text to Pay template allows you to customize your pre-built message that will appear in the chat when sending a text to pay link to a customer. This message will always contain the link for a customer to pay their invoice online.

Review Request Template

Review Request template allows you to edit the message that is being sent to a customer requesting that they leave a review for your shop. This message will be sent to a customer 24 hours after their inspection has been closed out.

Share Inspection Template

Share Inspection template is the message that will be sent out to customers that contains a link to their digital vehicle inspection results. The link to view their inspection results will automatically be added to the end of the pre-built message.
