What To Do First
What Point Of Sales Systems Can Use Customer Source?
Setting the Filter for the Campaign
We understand the importance of being able to communicate effectively with all of your customers. To make it easier to build these connections we have the following campaign templates available in Spanish:
After Visit Follow Up - Designed to go out to your customers a few days after a repair order is closed to check in on them and make sure they are happy with their last service. The message is sent based on the repair order close date and, by default, goes out two days after closing. You can adjust this timing as needed.
2 Month, 6 Month, and 12 Month Follow Up - Follow up text messages that are sent to customers 2 months, 6 months, and 12 months after their last visit. These are designed to help keep your shop front of mind with your customers, providing an open-ended follow-up that can prompt them to schedule their next service with your shop.
Oil Change Reminder - A service reminder campaign that is based off a time and mileage interval. The default setting for the oil change reminder is 180 days or 5000 mile/km, whichever comes first. This trigger can be adjusted based on your preference.
Slow Day Blast - This one-time text campaign is designed to help fill your schedule during slow periods. You can select recipients using filters and send the message as needed, it does not use automated triggers.
We now also offer an Appointment Reminder text message that is in both English and Spanish, so you can send an Appointment Reminder that is in both languages.
What To Do First
If you want to set up a campaign in Spanish, you would first need to add a “Source” in your Point of Sale labeling them, such as ENG = English and SP=Spanish. This will allow you to set the campaign to send out utilizing that source and make sure that only those customers are receiving the message in their preferred language.
What Point Of Sales Systems Can Use Customer Source?
Retention Pro can currently read customer source from:
- Mitchell1
- Tekmetric
- Napa TRACS Enterprise
- ROWriter 2.0
- MaxxTraxx
- Protractor API
- ShopBoss
- Tire Shop by Freedomsoft
Setting the Filter for the Campaign
Once you have made those changes and we have brought the information into our system with a sync, either you or your account rep can add the filter settings to your Spanish language campaigns.
In the campaign, under Additional Filters, you will click on Source. In the box you will choose the label you assigned to your Spanish-speaking customers in your Point Of Sale. This will direct the campaign to only send to customers who have that label under their Source.
