4/23/26 New Features & Enhancements 

Release Summary

This release expands MILES with per-conversation Snooze controls and stronger opt-out compliance, adds a new Smog Inspection reminder campaign type, and modernizes the website appointment experience with a mobile-first booking flow. It also introduces push notifications in the Retention Pro mobile app for Reviews and Appointments. On the ProPack/MMP side, key Report Pro and MMP workflows are restored — including Sub Estimates, Tech Worksheets, and workflow visibility — alongside expanded Mitchell 9.3 compatibility.

 

Retention Pro

MILES Platform Enhancements

  • Snooze Miles per Conversation - Adds a "Snooze Miles" control in the Messaging thread so staff can temporarily pause Miles auto-replies per conversation and send manual texts normally, without disabling Miles for the whole shop.

    • Benefit: Gives advisors more granular control over customer conversations, letting them step in manually when needed without impacting automation across the shop.

  • SMS Opt-Out Enforcement for Miles - Ensures SMS opt-outs are enforced for Miles — unsubscribed customers will never receive Miles AI text responses, even if "Miles AI" is enabled on their profile.

    • Benefit: Strengthens compliance with customer messaging preferences and reduces risk of unwanted outreach.

  • Miles Timezone Handling Fix - Fixes Miles timezone handling so message timestamps and open/closed business-hours logic use the shop's local time, preventing incorrect "we're closed" responses

    • Benefit: Ensures customers receive accurate, context-appropriate responses regardless of where the shop is located.

 

Campaign & Messaging Improvements

  • Smog Inspection Service Reminder Campaign - Adds a Smog Inspection service reminder campaign type so closed ROs with smog/emissions line items can trigger automated SMS/Email (and optional postcard) reminders on a configurable interval (default ~2 years).

    • Benefit: Helps shops capture recurring smog inspection revenue with minimal manual effort and keeps customers on schedule for required inspections.

  • Direct Mail Campaign Edit Persistence - Fixes Direct Mail campaign editing so template/design changes don't get overwritten when other campaign settings (like filters) are updated. All edits now persist through save/preview/submit.

    • Benefit: Prevents lost work and reduces frustration for marketers managing Direct Mail campaigns.

 

Website & Appointments

  • New Mobile-First Website Appointment Flow - Refactors the website appointment experience so the legacy "new version OFF" widget is replaced with the new mobile-first booking flow (with returning-customer lookup), while keeping existing embeds working and enabling theme-style customization.

    • Benefit: Delivers a modern, mobile-optimized booking experience for customers and gives shops more flexibility to match their brand.

 

Mobile App Enhancements

  • Push Notifications for Reviews & Appointments - Enables and validates mobile push notifications in the Retention Pro app for Reviews and Appointments (booked, pending, rescheduled, cancelled) on iOS and Android — respecting notification preferences and deep-linking to the right in-app destination.

    • Benefit: Keeps shop staff informed in real time, allowing faster response to new reviews and appointment activity from anywhere.

 

Bug Fixes & Stability Improvements

Mitchell1 Integration Fixes - Correct Default Phone Number on Customer Sync

  • Fixes Mitchell customer sync so Retention Pro selects the correct default/primary phone number (based on Mitchell phone ordering/display rules) instead of incorrectly defaulting to the last listed number.

    • Benefit: Improves outreach accuracy by ensuring the right phone number is used for customer communications.

 

NAPA Integration Improvements - NapaTRACS Enterprise Sub-Estimate Sync

  • Updates NapaTRACS Enterprise syncing so new and modified sub-estimates (and line items) are picked up via Quick/Fresh Sync and become available in Payments Pro and Web DVI without duplicates.

    • Benefit: Keeps NAPA shop estimate data accurate across Payments Pro and Web DVI, reducing manual reconciliation and payment errors.

Report Pro Improvements

  • Sub Estimates Access Restored - Report Pro restores access to Sub Estimates after the update by correcting the underlying report assets/config so sub-estimate views load normally.

    • Benefit: Restores a critical workflow for shops that depend on sub-estimate visibility in Report Pro.

  • Tech Worksheet Fix for Custom Vehicles - Tech Worksheets now print vehicle information correctly for custom-entered vehicles, fixing missing vehicle info after the update.

    • Benefit: Ensures technicians have complete, accurate vehicle details on their worksheets for every job.

  • Repair Orders Appear in Workflow List - Newly created repair orders now appear in the Report Pro Workflow list as expected, instead of not showing up.

    • Benefit: Eliminates a blocker that prevented shops from tracking new ROs, restoring normal workflow visibility.

 

Inspection & DVI Improvements

  • Inspection Photo Timestamp Fix - Inspection photo timestamps now show the correct local time in the web/customer inspection view, instead of an incorrect hour offset.

    • Benefit: Provides accurate time context in customer-facing inspection reports and improves trust in documentation.

  • MMP Sub-Estimate Auto-Creation Fix - Mobile Manager Pro now automatically creates sub-estimates as expected, instead of failing to generate them in the background.

    • Benefit: Restores reliable sub-estimate creation for NAPA shops using MMP, reducing manual workarounds.

 

Message Manager Improvements

  • Appointment Reminders Respect Appointment State - Appointment reminders now respect Appointment State and only send reminders for Open appointments, not every appointment.

    • Benefit: Prevents irrelevant reminders from being sent, improving customer experience and reducing messaging noise.

  • Appointment Reminder Delivery Reliability - Appointment reminders now send reliably to all eligible customers/appointments and are no longer skipped or mis-filtered.

    • Benefit: Improves appointment attendance rates by ensuring all eligible customers receive their reminders.

 

Mitchell 9.3 Compatibility

  • Mitchell 9.3 Report Fixes - Mitchell 9.3 compatibility is improved so key Report Pro reports load without errors and return data.

    • Benefit: Keeps Report Pro fully functional for shops on the latest Mitchell version.

  • Additional Mitchell 9.3 Report Fixes - Additional Mitchell 9.3 fixes ensure remaining reports populate correctly instead of returning empty results.

    • Benefit: Completes Mitchell 9.3 compatibility coverage across Report Pro and MMP.
