Enable Appointment Confirmations

This article will guide you through how to enable a feature that allows customers to confirm their appointments via text message in Message Manager Pro

Things To Note

  • This feature works in combination with the Enable Automatic Appointment Reminders feature and will only function correctly if both are enabled in your Message Manager Pro application

  • This feature will automatically mark a customer’s appointment as CONFIRMED in your Shop Management System

  • Appointments will only be marked as CONFIRMED if the customer replies to your confirmation request message with “C”

  • This feature will only function if your message to the customer contains the [ReplyToConfirm] wildcard

How To

  1. From Message Manager Pro

    1. Select the Settings tab from the top menu

    2. Click the General box

    3. Select the Appointment Reminders box on the left side of the menu

      1. Ensure that your Enable Automatic Appointment Reminders checkbox is checked

      2. Review your Appointment Reminder message to be sure that the [ReplyToConfirm] wildcard is in the body of the message

      3. Click on the "Customer Can Reply C to Confirm Appointment" checkbox to enable

  2. Click Save & Close.
