Automatically Add the Next Oil Change Appointment
This article will guide you through how to enable and configure the Automatic Appointments feature in your Lube Sticker Pro application
Things To Note

If you would like to print a lube sticker without automatically creating an appointment, uncheck the box labeled Automation on the main Lube Sticker Pro screen

Appointments made by this feature are considered Soft Appointments and must be confirmed by the customer which, can be done by using the Automatic Appointment Reminder in Message Manager Pro

This feature contains a number of settings that can drastically change and improve your daily workflow, below is a brief overview of some of the features:

Auto Add Appointment: When enabled, printing a lube sticker automatically adds a calendar appointment for that customer in your Shop Management System. (includes an editable Appointment Note field that’s attached to each automatic appointment.)

Shop Open On: Automatic Appointments require correctly configuring several settings to match your shop’s schedule and needs: Days, Scheduling Start Time, Schedule Hours, Max Appointments Per Day, Minutes Between Appointments, and Max Appointments Per Timeslot.

How To
Below are steps on how to configure each of the different features of Lube Sticker Pro listed above:

To enable Auto Add Appointment

From Lube Sticker Pro
-
Select the Settings tab from the top menu

Select the Appointments box on the left side of the menu

Click on the Auto Add Appointment checkbox
-
Edit the Appointment Note field with the message to attach to each automatic appointment.

Click Save & Close
- To turn this feature off you will uncheck the box next to Auto Add Appointment and then select Save & Close
- If you disable this feature, you must manually delete any appointments it created.

To edit Shop Open On days

From Lube Sticker Pro

Select the Settings tab from the top menu

Select the Appointments box on the left side of the menu

Under the section labeled Shop Open On, you will see a series of checkboxes and dropdown menus

Select the checkboxes for the days of the week your shop is open to allow appointments on those days.

For Scheduling Start Time - select the time of day that you would like automatically scheduled appointments to begin

For Schedule Hours - use the up/down arrows to select the amount of time you would like for each automatically scheduled appointment

For Max Appointments Per Day - use the up/down arrows to select the number of appointments you would like to allow the automatic scheduler to make each day

For Minutes Between Appointments - use the up/down arrows to select the amount of time you would like between appointments made by the automatic scheduler

For Max Appointments Per Timeslot - use the up/down arrows to select the number of appointments you would like to be able to be scheduled during the same time frame.

After you are done editing these fields to reflect what works best for your shop, click Save & Close in the left side menu

Adding and Removing Do-Not-Schedule Dates & Holidays

From Lube Sticker Pro

Select the Settings tab from the top menu

Select the Appointments box on the left side of the menu

In Do-Not-Schedule Dates & Holidays, review the preset closed dates and remove any that don’t apply before adding new ones.

To add a date that your shop will not be open, or no appointments should be scheduled, click the Add button
-
A window will appear with a date selection
-
Click on the down arrow to select a date that your shop will not be open, or no appointments should be scheduled

Click OK to add your date to the Do-Not-Schedule list

To remove a date from this list and allow appointments to be scheduled, click on the date you would like to remove

Click the Remove button
-
A confirmation prompt will ask if you want to remove the date.

Click Yes

After you are done editing the Do-Not-Schedule Dates & Holidays, click Save & Close in the left side menu
